My name is Molly. I am a six year old female from Bandera, Texas. As you can see, I am a black Labrador Retriever and I am very smart. When I was just six weeks old I chose and adopted a family who live in Hunt, Texas and I moved to the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
I also work in the garden. Of course, my work is mostly supervising but I have been known to get my paws dirty. My family spends a lot of time in the garden and sometimes I simply have to pitch in and dig in the dirt. I love it here with my family at S & H Green Acre. There isn't any other place I would rather be and I am going to stay forever.I am most passionate about breakfast. My second passion is "going." I love to go wherever my family is going. That can be anywhere at all.
Hi! I'm Fibber McGee. My family calls me Fibber or Fibbie for short. I got my name from my second family when I came to live here at S & H GreenAcre. Molly already lived here and my family thought, for some reason, that "Fibber McGee and Molly" was cute.
I am passionate about playing with my toys, bouncing, and playing hide-and-seek with the cats (they hide, I seek). They say I'm blind (Juvenile Cataracts) but I don't know what that means. I get around just fine, thank you. I also go bye-bye, and I usually find the cats when we play hide-and-seek. They love to play with me. Oh! I almost forgot. I am a female Golden Doodle. I have perfect posture. After all, I'm half French! My first family gave me away when a human baby came to live with them. They said I was too big. That was a little sad at first but now I am so happy. I am four years old, and I have been here three years. I hardly remember that first year. I really love my second family, especially Molly.
My name is Yoda. How about that, a girl named Yoda! I got my name because when my family found me I had a head injury that made my ear flop forward. They said I looked like a character in a movie. I wouldn't know, I don't watch many movies and I was just a baby.I am passionate about playing with my toys, bouncing, and playing hide-and-seek with the cats (they hide, I seek). They say I'm blind (Juvenile Cataracts) but I don't know what that means. I get around just fine, thank you. I also go bye-bye, and I usually find the cats when we play hide-and-seek. My parents say I "only" have three legs. I don't know why they say that. I looks to me like the other pets in this household have an extra leg. You would think that extra leg would get in the way. I'm sure it would get in my way. I run, jump, climb, eat, and sleep just fine without having to keep up with a fourth leg.
What am I passionate about? Being the Queen! I am the oldest, about 12 years old, and I have earned the title. Even though I have a pet door, I meow, and my parents will open the human door for me. I meow, and my parents pet me. If they don't pet me I bite them, just a little bite. I speak, they listen. Oh, yeah. I'm pretty passionate about sleeping on my mom's head.
My name is Alf and I want to be left alone! Mom says I look like a character from an old TV show.
I'm a couch potato and I want to be left alone! I'm about nine years old. I am passionate about being left alone, but I do have a secret. At night, when everyone is asleep, I like to get in the bed and kneed Mom's skin. Sometimes she yells, but most of the time she just cuddles me up and I sleep with her all night. I also like to sleep in sunny spots during the day.
If I had my way it would be just me, Mom, and Dad. There are just too many other folks in this household. I am the King of the Jungle and a king has a right to be left alone!
Hello there! I'm Cinco de Mayo but most of the time they just call me Cinco. Dad found me way down in a South Texas oil field at a place called the Cinco Ranch.
I was just a little thing when Dad rescued me and I am lucky he did. I was scared and alone but I have a wonderful life now. I am just a year old and playing is my passion. I know that someday I will inherit Yoda's throne so I watch her carefully, so I will know how to be the Queen. Meanwhile, I am content to play in the sun and sleep in the bed with my DadWhen Dad found me he gave me some of his ham and cheese sandwich, with mayonnaise. I was real hungry. I liked the sandwich a lot and I love mayonnaise. That's how I got my name. I think that there is a special holiday named after me.
My name is Rascal. They say I got my name because of who I am. What does that mean? I'm just being myself. Doesn't everyone torment their brothers and sisters? Isn't everyone curious about what's on top of this and that, what's in that sack, what's in that cabinet...? All I know, though, is that every time my parents hear a crash, I hear "What did you do this time, Rascal".
They say I'm about 9 months old. I can do a lot of things for just a kid. I love to climb trees! I can climb a tree in a flash! However, I am most passionate about investigating. Investigating everything. I just have to know what it is, if it moves, makes a sound, and will it run so I can chase it? One of my most favorite things is getting Fibber to chase me. Then I hide and she can't find me. If I didn't know better I might think she is blind or something. Like my sister, Cinco, Dad rescued me from the oil field when I was just a kitten. I'm sure glad he brought me home to S & H GreenAcre where life oh so good.
Hi! I'm a nine month old Beagle and my name is Aggie. I just moved to S & H GreenAcre. Like Fibber, I was given away. My first family didn’t like fences and you know how I, and most Beagles, like to run. We are hunters, after all. So I had to go out to do my business, on a leash, several times each day. It's just that sometimes I had to do my business but no one took me outside. They said I did not get the house breaking thing quite fast enough.
At S & H GreenAcre there is a very large fenced yard and a pet door so I can go out whenever I want. Plus Fibber McGee and Molly help me know what to do. I met Miss B before I moved to live with her and Rusty and we already loved each other so moving wasn’t hard. Actually, we are all in the same family. Miss B and Rusty are my grandparents. So I know I will be happy at my new home. There are other pets to play with me. I love to play! Thank goodness Miss B and Rusty love all animals and made room for one more pet, a little bitty Beagle named Aggie.
